Arikok National Park Foundation
Arikok National Park Foundation (San Fuego 70, Aruba) – this wildlife park covers 20% of Aruba and exists to conserve the island’s natural environment. Fortunately for tourists, the park’s entrance has a variety of facilities, such as a park exhibit, an information booth, bathrooms, a café & souvenir shop, and a media room.
There are also remnants of Aruba’s history, such as some ruins of a gold mining operation, caves, pre-Columbian native artwork, and the remains of an old Dutch colonial settlement. Also within this park is Mount Jamanota, the island’s highest peak (at 620 ft., or 188 meters above sea level).
