National Archaeological Museum of Aruba (Schelpstraat 42, Oranjestad) – this museum offers a look into the lives of Aruba’s early inhabitants. The collection of artifacts seen here includes farm tools, Indian artifacts, pottery, glass and art, and even a few skeletons. A team of professional archaeologists is among the museum’s staff members, whose job is to conduct research on these artifacts, lead excavations, and preserve various heritage sites, including the cave paintings found within Arikok National Park.
